Aluminum Wall Panels FAQ
General & Product Informaton
What exactly are itswallpanel.com’s panels made of?
Our premium facade panels are engineered from high-grade aluminum. Unlike heavy traditional options or cheap plastics, our panels combine lightweight architectural design with structural rigidity. They are finished with advanced, weather-resistant coatings (like PVDF or high-durability powder coating) to ensure they resist fading, chalking, and environmental corrosion for decades.
Where can these panels be installed?
They are highly versatile and engineered for both exterior and interior applications:
- Exterior: Building facades, main gates, boundary walls, balcony cladding, soffits, and commercial storefronts.
- Interior: Accent walls, corporate lobbies, ceilings, and modular partitions.
Are the panels completely fireproof?
Yes. Aluminum is inherently non-combustible. Our solid/profiled aluminum panels offer a superior fire-safety rating compared to composite panels that use plastic cores. They do not contribute to fire spread or release toxic smoke, making them fully compliant with strict commercial and residential building safety codes.
Do the panels require regular maintenance?
Virtually none. Because aluminum doesn’t rust, warp, or harbor organic growth like mold, maintenance is as simple as an occasional rinse with clean water and mild soap to remove surface dust. No periodic painting, sealing, or chemical treatments are ever required.
The Facade Face-Off: Aluminum vs. HPL, ACP, & WPC
Choosing the right facade cladding can be confusing with so many acronyms on the market. Here is how our premium aluminum panels stack up against HPL (High-Pressure Laminate), ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), and WPC (Wood Plastic Composite).
| Feature | itswallpanel.com (Aluminum) | HPL (Laminate) | ACP (Composite) | WPC (Wood Plastic) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Material Base | 100% Recyclable Aluminum | Kraft paper + Phenolic resin | Thin aluminum + Polyethylene | Wood flour + Plastics |
| Fire Safety | Class A (Non-combustible) | Class B or C (Combustible) | Variable (Standard cores burn) | Combustible (Melts/burns) |
| UV/Weather | Excellent (No fading/cracking) | Prone to fading & peeling | Risk of skin denting/separation | High warping & fading risk |
| Moisture | 100% Waterproof | Absorbs edges; can swell | Trapped water ruins adhesives | Can harbor humidity & mold |
| Longevity | 30+ Years | 10–15 Years | 10–20 Years | 7–12 Years |
| Eco-Friendly | 100% Infinitely Recyclable | Non-recyclable landfill waste | Difficult core separation | Low clean recyclability |
Why choose itswallpanel.com’s aluminium facade cladding/ louvers over these alternatives?
- Over HPL: While HPL mimics wood or stone well initially, it is essentially compressed paper. Over time, UV rays fade its finish, and moisture causes the edges to swell and peel. Our panels deliver a lasting finish without the structural failure of paper laminates.
- Over ACP: Standard ACP relies on a plastic (polyethylene) core sandwiched between paper-thin aluminum skins. This core creates a massive fire hazard unless you upgrade to expensive fire-retardant grades. Furthermore, standard ACP can easily dent. Our engineered aluminum panels offer massive structural strength and absolute fire safety.
- Over WPC: WPC expanding and contracting with temperature fluctuations frequently leads to buckled walls and loose fasteners. Our panels maintain structural integrity across extreme heat and cold waves without warping or brittleness.
Installation, Maintenance & Orders
How are the panels installed?
Our systems utilize a modern architectural framework (hidden framing or groove channels). This creates a rear-ventilated rainscreen architecture. Air circulates freely behind the panels, keeping your building dry, lowering cooling bills, and eliminating visible exterior screws.
Can I get custom designs, logos, or laser-cut patterns?
Absolutely. Because we utilize solid architectural aluminum, we can precision laser-cut custom geometric patterns, brand signage, and perforated textures directly into your gate panels or facade runs.
How do I request a quote or order samples?
Head over to our contact portal or email our project team directly with your estimated square footage, preferred panel profiles, and location. We supply physical product cut-sheets and sample chips to architects, developers, and homeowners alike.
